"The world is changing. In ways that are obvious and some we can barely imagine.
Studies show that we're much less good at predicting change than we often like to think. Even world-respected experts aren't very expert it seems. Making the future a very uncertain place indeed.
So what do we do when confronted with such uncertainty? And how do we maintain our competitive advantage when we don't even know what the world will look like 5/10/15 years from now.
One answer is to learn from people who are used to such uncertainty. A professional poker player has to make a resource allocation decision - in a world of obviously and undeniable uncertainty - every 90 seconds. A decision that they can't abdicate, they can't delegate and they can't procrastinate. And if they make the wrong one then they lose money!
Armed with 3 years experience of playing poker professionally in Las Vegas and a degree in Economics from Cambridge university, speaker and trainer Caspar Berry has been working with businesses now for 12 years. Sharing what poker teaches you and how you can use uncertainty to drive you and your team to success and "get the edge" over your competition."
