Jersey. There are numerous flights from London to Jersey in less than an hour every day, allowing for a morning meeting in The Big Smoke and an easy return home. Most workers flock to St Helier, typically less than a 30-minute drive from anywhere on the island, allowing you to end your day at the beach in a matter of minutes after a solid day’s work. Home to one of the world's most successful offshore finance centres and a long-established legal system, Jersey is a desirable place to work. A thriving digital and creative sector, high-quality tourism, retail, construction, over 300 businesses in the agriculture and fisheries sector and over 7,000 public servant roles in Jersey's Government means there are plenty of employment opportunities. If you prefer to work from home, Jersey has the second-fastest broadband speed in the world. 

Though technically under the sovereignty of the British Crown, the financial and legal system in Jersey differs to that of the UK's with its own fiscal and legal system as a self-governing Crown Dependency. Whilst the cost of living may be slightly higher, Jersey is known for its attractive taxation, including no Capital Gains Tax, Value Added Tax or Inheritance Tax. British and Irish citizen's do not require a visa, while other nationals can apply for immigration permission.
