Would you like to sell your home three times faster? Fine & Country Interior Design explain how a simple trick can transform your property and entice potential buyers.
In today’s market, buyers are empowered and looking for an immediate connection. They are no longer searching for a blank canvas, but an Instagram-worthy home where they can see themselves and their families settled at the click of a button.
Take a look at these two images. As a potential buyer, which one do you visualise as your ideal home?
All of the respondents to Home Staging Association UK & Ireland agree, reporting that staging a property makes it easier for a buyer to imagine the property as their future home, with 94% of agents and 100% of developers confirming that home staging increased the number of viewings for a property.
75% of respondents even claimed that buyers spend more time viewing a home that has been professionally staged. The association stated: “With houses currently sitting on the market at an average of 19 weeks, from initial listing to final offer, this is good news for those looking for a speedy sale in a sluggish market.”
Comparing these images, it is not surprising that the report states that 85% of respondents claimed that a staged home sells up to three times faster than a non-staged property.
38% of respondents said home staging increased the offer value by 1-3% and 16% stated a 7-10% rise in the value offer. That is in addition to the costs saved from the reduced time of the property on the market.
With our typical cost of Fine & Country staging and styling averaging at about 1% of the property value, this is not just a helpful hand to sell your property, but a worthwhile investment with proven returns.
By maximising the use of light and space, tailoring the style to the target demographic and helping prospective buyers see your property as a home, we can position your property at its best in the market.
