The annual Cambridge Christmas Carol Concert will be held on Monday 5th December 2016 at 7.30pm in association with the Fine & Country Foundation and three local charities supporting the homeless; Wintercomfort, Emmaus and Jimmy’s Cambridge.
The event will take place in the unique and historic Cambridge Union Society Debating Chambers that will provide a stunning backdrop to the festivities. Those who attend will be offered complimentary refreshments including soft drinks, mulled wine and mince pies from 7pm. Tickets to the event are free of charge and guests will be able to make contributions during the service.
The concert will be lead by Musical Director Ralph Woodward and the Fairhaven Singers will lead the concert with beautiful renditions of some classic Christmas carols. Having previously appeared on BBC Radio 2, 3 and 4, and Classic FM, the ensemble has established itself as one of East Anglia’s foremost chamber choirs.
Last year's event was a great success with more than £1,500 being raised for Wintercomfort, Emmaus and Jimmy’s Cambridge. Let's hope to top that figure this year!
