The conservatory is a favourite space, of course, as it enables us to enjoy the garden from inside, too."

"The house is brilliant for parties," say the owners, "with an easy flow throughout the ground floor living accommodation, and enough space for us to host 20 people for Christmas dinner each year. The garden serves as an extension of the indoor entertaining space, and we have held garden parties for the whole village here, with 150 people enjoying the sunshine."
The location of the property has much to recommend it, too. "We chose this address for the easy access it affords to London, where we were working at the time," say the owners. "From Potter's Bar, it takes only 17 minutes on the train to London, and we can be in Covent Garden within half an hour door to door for theatre and dining. Transport links to the north are excellent, too, with the A1, M1 and M25 within easy reach. This has been ideal for us visiting family in Birmingham over the years."
