Fine & Country Competition Notice
Three-day journey for two on the Orient Express from London to Paris.
This competition is offered and operated by Fine & Country Limited (“Company”), The Luxury Travel Company (“Travel Company”).
This competition will start on 23rd March 2018 and the final prize winner will be selected at random from all valid entrants who have correctly entered before 18:00 GMT 31st May 2018.
To enter this competition you must:-
• Be a homeowner;
• Book a valuation on the Fine & Country website (http://www.fineandcountry.com/uk); and
• Use the promotional code ORIENTEXPRESS to enter the competition.
There is one prize and the winner will win a three (3) day rail journey from London to Paris, for 2 persons.
The prize includes:-
- Complimentary UK home to station transfers
- Complimentary use of British Pullman lounge at London Victoria Station with welcome refreshments
- London Victoria to Folkestone on the British Pullman including three course gourmet brunch accompanied by an iconic Bellini cocktail
- Calais to Paris Gare de l'Est on the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express, including meals prepared by onboard French chefs
- 2 nights accommodation in 5* La Reserve hotel on a B&B basis
- Return from Paris to London St Pancras station on board the Eurostar in Business First seating
Please note, drinks are excluded and any other costs and expenses which you incur as part of the trip which are not set out above will be your responsibility entirely.
A judge selected by the Company will determine the winner at random within seven (7) days (“Drawn Date”) from the closing date of the competition.
The winner will be notified by email within twenty eight (28) days from the Drawn Date.
To receive the prize, the winner must reply within three (3) days to mediacentre@fineandcountry.com, providing their full name and address so Fine & Country can provide them with the relevant information for you to redeem the prize.
All entrants must be 18 or over. You can only enter the competition once and anyone found to use multiple email accounts to enter will be excluded from entering the competition and ineligible to win the prize. Multiple entries in a single day will also not be accepted.

By submitting an entry to this competition, the entrant agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions and our standard terms and conditions. If you do not agree or accept any of these terms then do not take part in this or any other competition operated by the Company.
These terms and conditions apply to the competition run and organised by the Company of 121 Park Lane, London, W1K 7AG.
These terms and conditions may change from time to time therefore, please check them each time you wish to enter this competition.
About the Competition
The competition is a free prize draw promotion. The competition is free to enter and no purchase is necessary.
How to Enter
All entries must be submitted via the website https://www.fineandcountry.com/uk/valuation-request using the code ORIENTEXPRESS and only one entry per person is permitted.
Restriction on entry
In entering the competition, the entrant confirms it is eligible to do so and eligible to claim the prize it may win. The Company may require the entrant to provide proof it is eligible to enter the competition.
If you are the winner of the competition, you may be required to provide proper evidence of age, residency and home owner status to claim the prize. Such evidence must be provided within seven (7) days of the Company asking you for it and failure to do so, or if the Company has any doubts as to the validity or authenticity of such evidence, may result in forfeiture of the prize and another winner being selected.
The prize
The winner will receive the prize set out in the competition details above.
The prize must be taken between 1 September 2018 and 15 May 2019. Bookings must be confirmed at least a month prior to the travel dates. Travel is subject to availability and certain blackout dates may apply.
Winner’s responsibility
The winner is responsible for ensuring they are able to accept the prize as set out above and in accordance with these terms and conditions. In the event they are unable to do so, then the Company reserves the right to withdraw the prize.
The winner is responsible to ensure that you and your guest have passports that are valid for a minimum of twelve (12) months.
The winner and their guest are responsible for their own travel insurance.
Transportation to London Victoria and from London Kings Cross St Pancras Station is complimentary if the pick-up location is within 50 miles of the stations. You will incur a surcharge if your pick-up location is over 50 miles from the stations. Any transportation required on arrival and during your stay in Paris, as well as any gratitude, upgrades, incidentals and other expenses not specified herein.
There is no substitution, assignment or transfer of any portion of the prize permitted by the Company and no cash alternative is offered.
The Company does not accept any responsibility if the winner is not able to take the prize.
Providing the prize
Unless stated otherwise in the competition details, the prize is supplied by the Company.
Other important information
The Company is not responsible for any fees or additional charges resulting from the winner or guest change of accommodation.
If the winner or their guest is unable to take the prize due to:
• Illness;
• Act of God;
• Inclement weather;
• Transportation delays or cancellations;
• Failure or emission of any Government and/or Authority; and
• Any other delay or failure caused by a third party.
The Company shall have the option at their sole discretion of:
(a) being relived of any liability for fulfillment of the prize or part thereof; and/or
(b) extending the period during which the prize may be awarded, for a period equal to the winner or their guest’s reason for not being able to take the prize.
Should the winner or their guest be unable to take the prize and the Company agree to extend the period as referred to in paragraph (b) above, the prize must then be utilised by the winner on the same itinerary as previously agreed.
The Company is not liable for any loss or damage to personal items and any travel baggage, of the winner or their guest.
The Company is not responsible or liable for any cancellations, delays, diversions or substitutions or any act or omissions by any third party or other transportation company, which as a result changes the service or accommodation provided.
The promoter of this competition is the Company.
