Chris Sawyer, Director
Born in Brighton, Chris began his career in 1988 for a small local independent agent. Following on from that he worked for a large chain of estate agents where he progressed to a senior management level.
Following his acquisition of Tingleys Estate Agents, Sawyer & Co was launched and December 2013 saw the launch of Fine & Country Brighton & Hove.
Chris is a council member of the Brighton & Hove estate agents association. He is also a member of the National Advisory Council of The Guild of Property Professionals. An avid Brighton & Hove Albion supporter, Chris lives in Brighton and is married with 2 daughters.
Adam Farrell, Director
Adam grew up in Hove and has enjoyed a career in property sales and lettings since the late 1990's. He has well rounded experience in both independent and corporate estate agency, working his way up from Negotiator to Branch Manager and now a Company Director.
Adam passed the highest level exams, and holds a Fellow grade of membership, at the National Association of Estate Agents (NAEA). He has also achieved a Diploma in Surveying Practice at the College of Estate Management and has become a member of the Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA) after passing their Technical Award exams. Adam is married with three children and now lives in Steyning. He is addicted to Hang Gliding!
Dominique Scott, Associate Director
After a successful career in the music industry, Dominique moved to live in Hove from London in 2005 with her husband and 2 children.
She joined the company that same year and has been an integral part of our team ever since.
She has a natural flair for selling or letting properties. The enjoyment that she takes in her job as well as her passion for property is very evident for her clients to see. Helping to launch Fine & Country Brighton & Hove has been an exciting next step in her career. Dominique is also a keen tennis player.
Matthew Higgins, Senior Negotiator & Valuer
After studying Sociology at Bath University, where he also ran a successful club promotions company, Matt returned to his hometown of Brighton. Having been introduced to the world of property at an early age it’s no surprise that Matt has taken to his role as a Negotiator at Fine & Country like a duck to water.
A committed Seagulls supporter, when he’s not supporting Brighton & Hove Albion Matt enjoys walking the dog on the seafront and practising his culinary skills.
Carron Ryan, Negotiator
Carron has moved between Brighton and London over the years but eventually decided to settle by the sea. After Qualifying as an Ophthalmic Optician Carron eventually moved into marketing working in Pharmaceuticals, Recruitment and Event Production.
After taking time off to bring up her son she returned to marketing and copy writing as a freelance consultant working with Olympic athletes and motivational speakers and joined Sawyer and Co in 2008. She has recently moved across to join our Fine and Country Team as a Negotiator / Marketer and Administrator
Carron has recently become an accidental actress – look out for her as an extra in The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society, a film by Mike Newell who also directed Four Weddings and a Funeral.
