John has had a broad career including working in the motor and telecoms industries before starting his family-run, independent property business, over ten years ago. John had realised that South Lancashire was in need of an estate agent where the customer would feel valued all the way through the sales process whether a vendor, landlord, buyer or tenant. John and Nina Ascroft launched their independent rural estate agent, and haven't looked back since. Over the years, John has developed an enviable network of contacts across the region and is often the first port of call for vendors of high-value properties who are looking for not only an accurate valuation of their home but a guarantee that they will receive the ultimate in customer service. John has a natural flair for matching purchasers with their perfect property and will often sell properties for his vendors, even before they are on the open market. John is dedicated to truly understand his clients and it is this understanding, combined with a passion for property, that has propelled the family’s property business to become a market leader and an award-winning estate agent. Nina Ascroft Director
Nina has many years of experience in property and has always had a keen interest in property and the property marketplace. As a property developer herself and from managing her own property portfolio, she has an unparalleled understanding of not only what purchasers are looking for in their perfect home but also how to ensure that the vendor's needs are met at all times. Launching the sales and lettings estate agency business, with husband John, Nina’s focus is on marketing, customer service and the sales process from offer through to completion. Nina has a particular interest in the luxury property market and brings an understanding and her own flair and ability to market these special properties, in a unique way, to really show off all that these properties have to offer. For Nina, successful property negotiation and progression is only achieved following a face to face, personal relationship. When dealing with high-value homes across the Fine and Country portfolio, the service experience must be exceptional and professional and this is what Nina delivers. Directing every element of the sales process for 7 years has enabled Nina to develop relationships with all her clients that regularly surpasses expectations. Nina’s clients are valued and she will go out of her way to ensure that they achieve the outcome they desire in their sale or purchase.
Imogen Ascroft Client Services
Imogen Ascroft has been working within the property business for 3 years, working Saturdays and evenings, throughout her education, to gain an understanding of property and the marketplace. Following her decision to join the business, Imogen has brought with her confident professionalism, ambition and drive and a fresh approach to marketing. In addition to working within the property business, Imogen has worked in a variety of customer service roles that have shown her how to always put the client first and has provided her with a natural understanding of how to make a client feel valued at all times.
