In the East Midlands region, the average price of property is £630,186, which represents a 10.9 percent annual change in price. The premium price threshold in the East Midlands is £481,000, which means that the top five percent of sales in the region were above this figure. Over the last 12 months the average price per square foot has been around £291. The total value of sales over the past year has been £1.65 billion with 139 sales at or over £1 million.

Prime property price growth has been strengthening over recent months. The average price for a prime market property exceeds £500,000 in all areas of the region except Mansfield. Prices in Loughborough have topped £700,000 and the average price of property in Northampton is currently £678,846.
